The architecture and interior design of the Fasano Hotel Rio de Janeiro pay homage to the spirit of Brazilian design of the 1950's and 1960's, and the glorious Bossa Nova era. Channeling the heyday of Jobim and Gilberto, the staff wears Ocimar Versolato–inspired uniforms. Michelin-starred chef Luca Gozzani continues Fasano’s century-old dining legacy at the spacious Fasano Al Mare restaurant. Fasano Al Mare The family's celebrated tradition in gastronomy can be experienced at Fasano al Mare. Led by restaurateur Rogério Fasano, the kitchen is run by chef Nicola Fideli, who explores the diverse aspects of Mediterranean cuisine, with a special focus on seafood. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served daily in the main dining area as well as the inviting terrace. Designed by Philippe Starck to offer beautiful views of the sidewalks of Ipanema, the restaurant also has a private dining area, concealed by white linen curtains. Scandinavian tables are arranged under a splendid Murano chandelier.
